There is a big variation on the market. Forms and colours are very different between the models. In every cas you wear them under a trouser or the ladies under a dress or a skirt. Before there were the modern kind of underwear people in the middleage had someting which was called the Brouche. They were long, wide underwear which also had something to cover the legs.

During the years the cover for the legs developed to the today known throuser and the brouche became smaller and shorter. A cut in the frontline was made after the first worldwar. Until the beginning of the 19th century woman didn’t wear any underwear. Only some farmerwives had ones as protection from the cold. The first underwear for woman came up in the yaer 1805. They were made from cotton or linen.

Today it is usual in our society to change underwear more often than other clothes to be hygienic. This is possible because today underwear is easily available and can be washed very often in a washing machine. Today it is also an asseccoire which attracts woman. Underwear is part of a lifestyle and personality.Often you find female models with transparent satin or silk. In combination with a fitting bra it fits well under nice dress. Today it is also usual to wear them under the clothes so taht you can see the pattern or just the roll marks. But they are also just simly in white or black available. Special models are made for sports.
